J-pop boy band NEWS to provide theme song for live-action series 'Pay to Ace'

J-pop trio NEWS performs the theme song Mirai e for live-action series Nigatsu no Shousha: Zettai Gokaku no Kyoshitsu (English Title: Pay to Ace) where fellow boy band member Kato Shigeaki is also set to act. He, alongside main stars Yagira Yuya and Inoue Mao, will appear in this NTV series adapted from Takase Shiho's manga of the same name.

Yagira Yuya plays the character of Kuroki Kurodo, a teacher who used to work for an elite cram school but eventually transfers to an average test-prep institute, Ohka Seminar, as its principal. The present year has been hard for Ohka Seminar's students as they couldn't get accepted into any of the top three middle schools, but Kurodo promises the children that they will get into their first choice of school.

Pay to Ace is scheduled to air on October 16, 2021 on Nippon TV.
