KBS2 releases the newest poster of its upcoming historical drama, The King's Affection, based on Lee Se-young's manhwa Yeonmo, published from 2011 to 2014 by Daewon C.I. The live-action series cast includes Park Eun-bin, Ro Woon, Lee Pil-mo, and Nam Yoon-soo among others.

It promises the story of the Crown Prince's wife giving birth to twins but is compelled to kill the twin daughter as it is believed to be a bad omen. To keep her alive instead, she banishes her daughter out of the palace in secret. When misfortune befalls the twin son due to a disease, the mother hides his death and sends the twin daughter back to the palace as his replacement, who eventually becomes Crown Prince Lee-hwi (Park Eun-bin). The secret she's harboring about her identity will prove to be even more difficult when she falls for her noble teacher, Jung Ji-woon (Ro Woon).

The King's Affection will air on October 11, 2021 on KBS2 and will also stream on Netflix.
