OCN adapts the webcomic Superior Day written and illustrated by Team Getname into a live-action series. It casts Jin Goo, Ha Do-kwon, and Lee Won-geun as the main leads. Firefighter Lee Ho-cheol (Jin Goo) receives a text message that implicates his meek-looking neighbor, Kwon Shi-woo (Lee Won-geun) as a serial killer. To spare his missing daughter's life, Ho-cheol is blackmailed by hired killer Bae Tae-jin (Ha Do-kwon) into killing his neighbor.
Well known for its production of remarkable mystery and crime-thriller titles, OCN is set to air Superior Day in the first half of 2022. The live-action series will be directed by Jo Nam-hyeong (Tale of the Nine Tailed).
