Netflix has revealed the official trailer for its newest Korean supernatural horror series, Hellbound. Based on the webcomic of the same name written by Yeon Sang-ho and illustrated by Choi Kyu-seok, Hellbound tells the story of people who hear predictions of their death at the most uncanny times and places. When the time of death comes, executioners from hell in the form of giant monsters will come to attack and burn them. Directed by Yeon Sang-ho (Train to Busan, Peninsula), who also penned the webcomic itself, Hellbound stars Yoo Ah-in, Park Jung-min, Kim Hyun-joo, Won Jin-a, and Yang Ik-june. Expectations are high for this live-action series after the success of Squid Game, the Netflix survival series that took the world by storm when it premiered in September, and is already being called the next big Korean drama hit. We will find out on November 19, 2021, when it streams on Netflix.
