Shin Hye-sun, Lee Jun-young star as teacher, student in live-action movie 'Brave Citizen'

Shin Hye-sun plays the role of an assertive teacher to her problematic student, Lee Jun-young, in the 2022 live-action movie adapted from the webcomic Brave Citizen. Written and illustrated by Kim Jung-hyun, Brave Citizen follows So Shi-min (Shin hye-sun) who played boxing when she was younger but chose the path of becoming a high school teacher. She avoids trouble at school until she encounters the difficult student Han Soo-gang (Lee Jun-young). The movie is scheduled to be screened in 2022, awaiting further details and cast announcement. Brave Citizen will be directed by Park Jin-pyo, mostly known for directing and co-writing romance movies. This is his first directing role after seven years, the last one being in 2015 (Love Forecast, starring Lee Seung-gi and Moon Chae-won).
