Woo Do-hwan and Lee Sang-yi join the cast of Netflix's live-action series Hunting Dogs alongside Kim Sae-ron, Park Sung-woong, and Heo Jun-ho. Hunting Dogs is based on Jung Chan's webcomic entitled Bloodhound first published in 2019. Due to his mother's debts, Gun Woo (Woo Do-hwan) had to quit his promising career as a boxer to work for CEO Choi who has a money lending business. CEO Choi used to be prominent in the industry but vanished without a trace. He resurfaced one day and started lending money to individuals in need without charging interest. This will be Woo Do-hwan's first acting role after he gets discharged from his military service on January 5, 2022.

The roles of Gun Woo and Choi Woo-jin (Lee Sang-yi) were first offered to Lee Do-hyun and Kwak Dong-yeon respectively, but they turned them down.

The Hunting Dogs live-action adaptation will be directed by Kim Joo-hwan (The Divine Fury, Midnight Runners).
